Mature and seasoned disciple-makers sensing a calling to
deeper commitment and service to our Lord Jesus Christ may
be assigned to pioneer new ministry areas or strengthen existing
ones in cooperation with the local ministry team.
Cross-cultural ministry is encouraged to further refine disciples'
character and ability to minister to the broader Body of Christ.
At the first level a laborer from one cultural group is transferred
to another cultural group within the Philippines.
As local missionaries learn to be culturally sensitive and
how to minister effectively in another cultural setting, then
they can begin to consider a cultural setting outside of the
Philippines.
Presently three local missionaries have or are working cross
culturally in student ministries and one in community development
and discipleship in an ethnic community. Some are now considering
God¹s leading into another cultural setting in the Philippines
or abroad.
