In ministry areas where there is an existing
high school ministry, the college ministry provides an opportunity
for students to continue to deepen in their relationship with
Jesus Christ and to develop ministry skills.
Older college students are sometimes tapped
to help lead Bible studies during the school year or to assist
in the summer camps. Giving assistance on registration day to in-coming
Freshmen, sports fests, apartments operated by the ministry,
witnessing and invitations to friends to join ministry activities
are employed to find students who are spiritually hungry for
the life changing love offered by Jesus Christ.
Christian professors, ministry interns, local
and foreign missionaries and committed volunteers from among the ministry's
professionals provide the workforce to establish and equip
students to be the next generation of laborers in the ministry.
An annual 30-day summer training program established
by RMI missionaries, Joe and Kate Boeve, and the local missionaries provides
an environment away from the hustle of daily life for intensive
training in discipleship, ministry skills, and other cognitive
resources to widen students' perspectives. During the course
of the training the students are challenged to commit to discipleship
and disciplemaking as a lifestyle.
